Today I'm focused on agentic systems — multimodal local inference, clinical operations automation, reusable capability platforms, and production tooling that turns business goals into durable software. Autonomy and tight feedback loops beat process. I would rather give three engineers a whole problem than give ten a slice each.
Stay close to the code
I still review the hard PRs. Leadership without hands-on context turns into guessing, and the guesses get expensive at scale.
Systems that fail safely
Unattended software earns trust by degrading predictably — durable writes, bounded retries, and a human in the loop where it counts.
Ship to learn
Working software in front of users answers questions that planning cannot. Clarity comes from shipping, not from more documents.
